The Marine High Bay light was specifically designed for marine environment applications. It is salt-water resistant and all exposed metallic parts are made of stainless steel.
The enclosure is made of die cast aluminum and coated with white powder. It is resistant to harsh environments and salt water, unavoidable in marine applications. The housing serves as a heatsink, keeping the interior electronics and LED engine below maximum specified temperature.
The Bridgelux COB LED is from the VERO29 series, with output luminous efficacy of over 100lm/W. The integrated LED driver provides an efficiency of over 95%.
Impact-protected front glass
The front of the light is made of a 3mm safety glass with light gloss factor of under 5%. Optionally, a 3mm polycarbonate disc can replace the glass for an IK08 rated impact protection.
The design is IP67 rated, capable to be submerged down to 20m. Under certain conditions, it can operate in IP68 environments.
Made to resist rough environment
The lamp was designed for a rough outdoor climate and harsh, cold conditions. The heatsink design allows for a very efficient power dissipation, keeping all internal electronics at acceptable temperatures, while operating at full power. The housing can be cleaned with high-pressure or steam cleaners.
